Entertaiment is a broad genre, ranging from a single individual choosing from an enormous array of pre-recorded entertainment products, to a meal or party for two; from ceremonial occasions and religious festivals through to performances intended for thousands, or even for the entire world. Many entertainments may seem to have only amusement as their primary objective, but such is not necessarily the case; they can also touch on subjects that our brains were evolved to react deeply to, such as social backstabbing or murder.
